Single Use - Consumables and instruments
Their single-use products, whether surgical instrument, IVD or laboratory product, are future-proof with MedEco plastics from BIOVOX. Free from critical substances such as BPA or phthalates, they have excellent proven biocompatibility. High strength and stiffness variants allow less material to be used; soft variants allow flexible components. Maximum transparency is also possible.
For instruments we recommend the following MedEco types:
Packaging
Whether a sterile barrier as a hard or soft PET blister, or a simple, soft PE bag, your packaging will be climate-friendly and recyclable with our MedEco extrusion types. With up to 100% bio content and excellent properties as a monomaterial, the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) will also lose its fright. Of course, our packaging plastics are also medical grade and meet the highest quality standards.

Tubes
For the extrusion of your flexible tubes or rigid profiles, we have suitable MedEco bioplastics in medical grade for you. Resistant to chemicals and pharmaceuticals and, if necessary, with mechanical properties adapted to your application. Our materials are free from migrating additives and so-called Substances of Concern - made from plant-based polymers.

Durable medical devices & equipment
We also offer specially stabilized bioplastics that can withstand frequent treatment with surface disinfectants, as well as flame-retardant options upon request. Let's talk about your requirements!
