Kampf gegen den Klimawandel. Mit einem Anteil von 4,4% an den globalen Treibhausgasemissionen tr\u00e4gt er erheblich zur Umweltbelastung bei\u00a0<a href=\"#quelle\"><span style=\"font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-size: var(--bodyfontsize); letter-spacing: var(--bodyletterspacing); text-transform: var(--bodytexttransform);\">[Q1]<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-size: var(--bodyfontsize); letter-spacing: var(--bodyletterspacing); text-transform: var(--bodytexttransform);\">. 71% dieser Emissionen sind auf die Lieferkette des Gesundheitssektors zur\u00fcckzuf\u00fchren\u00a0<a href=\"#quelle\">[Q1]<\/a>. Dieser Bereich wird auch als Scope 3 bezeichnet. Hierunter fallen Produktion, Verpackung und Transport von Produkten und Dienstleistungen <a href=\"#quelle\">[Q2]<\/a>. Diese Zahl gibt uns einen Hinweis darauf, dass hier das gr\u00f6\u00dfte Optimierungspotenzial liegt. Allerdings ist diese Zahl auch sehr allgemein, da es im Gesundheitssektor viele verschiedene Akteure gibt. Das k\u00f6nnendie Nutzung von Brennstoffen im Heizkessel oder in Krankenhausfahrzeugen sein.<\/li><li>Scope 2 bezieht sich auf indirekte Emissionen aus der Erzeugung von eingkaufter Energie, also z.B. bezogenem Strom, Fernw\u00e4rme oder Dampf.<\/li><li>Scope 3 umfasst alle anderen indirekten Emissionen entlang der Lieferkette. Das umfasst denTransport von G\u00fctern, Dienstleistungen, die Entsorgung des Abfalls, und nat\u00fcrlich die Medizinprodukte, Pharmaverpackungen und Laborprodukte, die durch so eine Klinik laufen. href=\"https:\/\/www.ifeu.de\">ifeu<\/a>)\u00a0 haben im Rahmen des Forschungsprojektes <a href=\"https:\/\/www.klimaschutz.de\/de\/projekte\/kliol-klimaschutz-in-kliniken#:~:text=Klimaschutz%20in%20Kliniken%20durch%20Optimierung,eines%20Treibhausgasrechners%20die%20Emissionen%20gemessen.\">KLiOL<\/a> (Klimaschutz in Kliniken durch Optimierung der Lieferketten) eine umfangreiche Treibhausgas-Bilanz des Uniklinikum Heidelberg (UKHD) f\u00fcr das Jahr 2019 erstellt. Die Ergebnisse wurden im <a href=\"https:\/\/link.springer.com\/book\/10.1007\/978-3-662-68792-5\" data-wplink-edit=\"true\">Krankenhausrepot 2024<\/a> ver\u00f6ffentlicht. Wir haben die Zahlen daraus in Abbildung 2 zusammengefasst. 24%, also k<span style=\"font-size: var(--bodyfontsize); letter-spacing: var(--bodyletterspacing); text-transform: var(--bodytexttransform);\">napp ein Viertel der gesamten Emissionen, sind Medizinprodukten zuzuschreiben. Was genau steckt dahinter? Als Medizinprodukte gelten Produkte, die einem medizinischen Zweck dienen. Also zum Beispiel Implantate, Katheter, R\u00f6ntgenger\u00e4te, Labordiagnostika, aber auch und sogar\u00a0 Software. Sie wirken prim\u00e4r physikalisch, im Gegensatz zu Arzneimitteln, die pharmakologisch, immunologisch oder metabolisch wirken <\/span><a style=\"font-size: var(--bodyfontsize); letter-spacing: var(--bodyletterspacing); text-transform: var(--bodytexttransform);\" href=\"#quelle\">[Q3]<\/a><span style=\"font-size: var(--bodyfontsize); letter-spacing: var(--bodyletterspacing); text-transform: var(--bodytexttransform);\">.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-26587a4 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"26587a4\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Wie berechnet man solche Zahlen?<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-06999d9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"06999d9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Es gibt verschiedene Methoden Treibhausgasemissionen zu messen. In diesem Fall wurde ein hybrider Ansatz gew\u00e4hlt: Ein Teil der Emissionen wurde \u00fcber einen verbrauchsbasierten Ansatz (z.B. Strom) und ein Teil \u00fcber einen finanzbasierten Ansatz berechnet. Mit letzterem wurden auch die Emissionen der Medizinprodukte berechnet. Kurzgesagt, basiert er auf der Bewertung der finanziellen Aufwendungen, die im Zusammenhang mit der Beschaffung dieser Produkte entstehen (in \u20ac) und wird dann mit einem definierten Emissionsfaktor (in CO2e pro Bezugseinheit) multipliziert\u00a0[Q4].<\/p><p>Wie das genau funktioniert, haben wir direkt beim Uniklinikum Heidelberg nachgefragt. Entwickelt wurde er vom Heidelberg Institute of Global Health und dem Institut f\u00fcr Energie- und Umweltforschung (ifeu) im Rahmen des KliOL-Projektes, gemeinsam mit dem Institut f\u00fcr Allgemeinmedizin der Universit\u00e4tsklinik Freiburg.<br><br>Um die THG-Emissionen von Krankenh\u00e4usern m\u00f6glichst genau und dennoch mit einem vertretbaren Aufwand zu berechnen, verwendet der Rechner sowohl den sogenannten Top-down- als auch den Bottom-up-Ansatz. Bei dem Top-Down-Ansatz handelt es sich um eine finanz-basierte Berechnungsmethode, dieser wird beispielsweise f\u00fcr die Bilanzierung von Medizinprodukten und Medikamenten im KliMeG-Rechner verwendet. Grundlage bilden die umwelt\u00f6konomische Gesamtrechnung und die volkswirtschaftliche Gesamtrechnung, sodass Wirtschaftsdaten mit Daten zu THG-Emissionen verkn\u00fcpft werden.<br><br>Die aus den Datens\u00e4tzen berechneten Emissionsfaktoren geben dann an, wie viel THG-Emissionen pro ausgegebenem Euro f\u00fcr z.B. Medizinprodukte entstehen. Der optimierte Trokar besteht au\u00dferdem aus weniger Komponenten, was die Anzahl der erforderlichen Spritzgussformen verringert und die Prozessschritte bei der Montage erheblich reduziert. \n<br><br>\nBei der <b>Materialauswahl<\/b> wurden umweltfreundlichere Materialien wie Polypropylen (PP) und das biobasierte PLA von BIOVOX verwendet.
